At Fractaleria LTD we take the privacy of your data very seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information, in compliance with the UK GDPR (United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. What data we collect

We may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Identity and contact data: name, email address, phone number (for contact via WhatsApp) and billing address.
  • Transaction data: details of the payments and products you have purchased from us.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and basic browsing data to improve the security of the site.
  • Data from the free account of the pattern generator: the email address you use to create a free account in our pattern generator, the language you use it in and the date on which you agreed to receive our emails.

Important note: we do not store your credit/debit card details. Payments are processed directly by secure, encrypted payment gateways.

2. What we use your data for

We use your personal information exclusively for the following purposes:

  • To process and deliver your order or digital service.
  • To manage invoicing and meet our tax obligations (HMRC in the UK).
  • To provide customer support and handle refunds through our WhatsApp or email channel.
  • To notify you of changes to our services.
  • To send you emails with news about the pattern generator and our courses, only if you agreed to it when creating your free account. Those emails include a link to unsubscribe.

3. Legal basis for processing

Under UK law, we process your data on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract: we need your data to deliver what you bought.
  • Legal obligation: to keep the accounting records required by English law.
  • Consent: when you voluntarily contact us via WhatsApp for support, and when you agree to receive our emails when creating a free account in the pattern generator. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

4. Sharing data with third parties

Fractaleria LTD does not sell your data to third parties. We only share strictly necessary information with:

  • Payment providers: (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, banks) to process your transaction.
  • Hosting and IT services: to keep our website running and secure.
  • Authorities: if the law or a court order requires it.

5. International transfers

Because our operational administration may be carried out from outside the United Kingdom (for example, support from Chile), your data may be accessed internationally by authorised Fractaleria LTD staff. We make sure that this access maintains the same levels of security required by European and British regulations.

6. Your rights (your data, your control)

Under data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure ("right to be forgotten"): request that we delete your data (except data we must keep under tax law).
  • Objection: object to the use of your data for marketing. You can stop receiving our emails with the unsubscribe link they include, or by writing to us.

To exercise any of these rights, simply email us at contacto@fractaleria.com.

7. Security and retention

We will keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collected it, including meeting legal, accounting or reporting requirements (generally 6 years for tax records in the UK).

8. Cookies and measurement tools

Our site uses its own cookies that are necessary for it to work (remembering your cart, your language and your session) and third-party tools to measure visits and the results of our advertising:

  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram): we use the Meta pixel and its Conversions API. They record actions such as visiting a page, starting a payment, creating a free account or completing a purchase, together with technical data (IP address, browser and Meta cookie identifiers). When you complete a purchase, your email and name are also sent in encrypted form (hashed), so that Meta can attribute the sale to an ad.
  • Google Analytics: measures statistically which pages are visited and how the pattern generator is used.
  • Campaign cookies: if you arrive from an ad, we store for 30 days which campaign you came from, to know which advertising works.

Visitors from Chile, Europe (including the United Kingdom) or Brazil are asked for permission before these tools are activated: until they accept, their visit is not measured. Meta and Google process this data in accordance with their own privacy policies. If you do not want us to measure your visit, you can turn off measurement in this browser:
