In 2016 I came across geometric string art and something clicked. I combined it with sacred geometry and mandalas, and that mix became the hilomandala method.

Along the way I found what matters most to me about all this: its calming side. Weaving thread over thread settles the head and leaves something beautiful in your hands.

I started teaching in person and understood the important thing: almost nobody needed artistic talent. They needed someone to break the process down and teach it in the right order.

Today there are certified instructors running workshops with my method in Mexico, Chile, Spain and Colombia.
